Selmin Erk

Selmin Erk, holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Ege University. She teaches mindfulness and visualisation practices in Istanbul, Turkey since 2010.

She’s the writer of two books: “In The Now- Mindfulness” in 2016 and “Positive Thinking Handbook” in 2015 with Dr Şahika Erer. She’s the content developer of two meditation apps called: Crea and Metta.

She was a chemistry teacher and Head of Science Department in major national schools for 20 years.

She started meditation practices in 1987and she continued since then. She attanded to Harvard Medical School, Mindfulness and Therapy programs in 2011 and 2013. Became a trainer of Mindfulness in Schools Organisation in 2014. In 2015 she got the certification of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)  Mindfulness Tools from Massachusetts Med School in Madrid, Spain. 

In 2019, she attended The Art Of Goal Achieving training programs from Proctor Gallagher Institute, in North America. She got the opportunity to work with  mindfulness masters and pioneers as Thich Nhat Hahn, Jon Kabat Zinn, Ronald Siegel, Daniel Siegel ve Florence Meleo- Meyers.
