The program is designed to educate and coach the implementation of the Category Management process.

This process produces a plan, utilizing the variables of the marketing mix, to optimize sales and profitability for the category by focusing on consumer needs and the competitive environment. We have over 42 years experience in the B2B and Consumer business.

Anderson Owens

AJ  holds a university degree from Northwestern University, Chicago USA.

He joined 3M in 1978 and along his 40 years experience has held different positions of multiple responsibilities. He managed Category Management process and leading distributors representing $125 million. He trained, coached and mentored the commercial  organization in Category Management, negotiation and sales processes.

He won an OPI, Office Products Industry, Achievement Award in Category Management in 2012 in Europe and EMEA. This work has helped place 3M Co. in a leading position related to the Category Management process.

Retired in July 2018 and has launched A.J. Owens Consulting.
